The key responsibilities of the Assistant Manager - Corporate Finance involve evaluating investment opportunities, funding requirements, and structuring of investments. The job holder is also responsible to execute the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the Health & Safety guidelines, instructions, and protocols of the Organization.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/ Finance/ Business Management/Mathematics from a recognized university or fully qualified in CIMA/ACCA/ICASL
CFA or FRM certification is preferred
Experience
3 to 4+ years of relevant experience in Corporate Finance, with in-depth knowledge of financial modeling, financial statement analysis, valuations, scenario analysis, and investment report writing
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with sound knowledge in MS Office package, Advanced Excel, and Power BI
1. Evaluate the Group’s business initiatives, expansions, capital investments in subsidiaries and JVs, and M&As by carrying out feasibility studies, valuations, due diligence, and periodic review of existing investments
2. Oversee the Finance and Accounting function for overseas Investment Holding companies of the Group, including adherence to statutory compliance requirements
3. Develop long-term financial projections, financial statement analysis, cash flow management, peer benchmarking, including scenario analysis and sensitivities
4. Prepare board papers, presentations, and reports for the senior management and external stakeholders based on business requirements
5. Identify and implement process improvements in Corporate Finance function, and carry out other activities as may be required in the Function
