The Assistant Manager- Merchandising is responsible for leading achievement of the Product Development (PD) objectives for one or more customers within the Key Accounts Group (KAG). Oversees the entire PD process, including customer order forecasting, sample development, order costing, customer negotiations, etc., to meet the OTD, sales, profitability, LRP and CRI objectives.Â
Leads the Development team (Category Development Leads / PD Merchandisers). Furthermore, the job holder is responsible for execute the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the Health & Safety guidelines, instructions and protocols of the Organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead formulation of the Product Development (PD) objectives and implementation plans for the assigned Customer/s
- Drive synergies with the internal marketing teams (KAG / Group) and Leadership team for achievement of the OTD, Sales and Profitability objectives
- Manage effective customer relationships for realization of the strategic PD deliverables, including LRP execution, new business development, CRI, etc.
- Lead and manage the Development team towards achieving functional objectives
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Designing/ Clothing Technology/ Business Administration/ Marketing.
Experience
6 + years of relevant experience in the merchandising function.
