Description
The Deputy Manager - Compliance is mainly responsible to assist the Chief Compliance Officer in creating a robust Compliance culture within the Bank and ensure that operations of the Bank are carried out, keeping in line with stipulated regulatory requirements and laid down internal procedures.
Candidate Profile:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration or finance from a recognized university or in any other discipline acceptable to the Bank or any other professional qualification equivalent to a degree acceptable to the Bank.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in compliance, finance, treasury, risk, or internal audit in a financial institution.
- Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements applicable to Banks and a strong desire to learn and understand the new trends in Compliance.
- High level of analytical skills and Interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in both oral and written communication in English.
- IT literacy.
- High level of Leadership qualities required to drive a robust Compliance culture
