We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pre-sales Consultant with over 5 years of expertise in IT infrastructure. Job Description
Pre-Sales Support
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify potential clients.
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance, including understanding client needs, proposing suitable solutions, and addressing technical queries.
Solution Development
- Design and architect IT infrastructure solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Develop detailed technical proposals, including solution design, implementation plans, and cost estimates.
- Work with internal engineering teams to ensure feasibility and alignment of proposed solutions.
Sales Process Involvement
- Assist the sales team in responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFIs (Request for Information).
- Participate in client meetings and site visits to gather technical requirements and present solutions.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the company's product portfolio and how it can address various client needs.
Technical Expertise
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in IT infrastructure technologies.
- Provide technical training and support to the sales team, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to sell effectively.
- Act as a technical advisor to clients, offering insights and recommendations to optimize their IT environments.
Person Specification
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 05 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a focus on sales engineering or a similar client-facing technical role.
- Proven track record of designing and selling complex IT infrastructure solutions.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, server management, virtualization, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
- Proficiency in technologies such as VMware, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Cisco, and enterprise storage solutions.
- Familiarity with sales and CRM tools, as well as the ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales teams and other departments.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Professional certifications in relevant technologies
