Description

Responsibility

1. Financial management: Responsible for supervising and managing the company's financial activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, cost control, fund receipt and payment review, sorting out and improving various systems and processes, etc.

2. Tax Administration: Responsible for managing the company's tax affairs, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and optimising tax planning to the maximum extent possible.

3. Tax declaration: Responsible for the external declaration of various taxes, submit relevant tax statements and other tax-related work, to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the declaration.

4. Tax coordination: Assist to complete the daily tax, audit and other government departments inspection work, and maintain good communication with relevant departments. Responsible for connecting with the third party tax agent firm and completing the company's tax related audit work.

5. Financial analysis: Analyzes and interprets the company's financial data, provides advice on business performance and financial condition, and provides support for business decisions.

6. Audit Compliance: Work with internal and external auditors to ensure that the company's financial reporting complies with audit requirements and regulations.

7. Financial strategy: Develop and execute the company's financial strategy to support the achievement of business growth and development objectives.


Qualifications

1. Bachelor/Master's degree related to Accounting or Finance.

2. More than 10 years working experience in Accounting and Taxation. And preference will be given for those who have more than 5 years of experience in similar job role with construction industry.

3. In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Audit Experience Preferred.

4. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Leadership and Interpersonal Skills.

5. Good knowledge and experience in Excel , word and other office software.

6. Sound knowledge working with Quick Book Systems will be an added advantage.

7. Work carefully, motivated, strong sense of responsibility, with good communication, coordination skills and strong ability to work under pressure.

8. Candidates living in Colombo or commutable distance from Colombo area are preferred.
