a passionate and experienced Assistant Manager - Training & Development to help us achieve excellence in service and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and coordinate comprehensive training programs for all hotel properties and HQ Conduct on-site training sessions and workshops at various hotel locations
- Assess training needs and develop customised training solutions to meet those needs
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure training initiatives align with company goals and objectives
- Work with outside trainers and training organisations to bring specialised programs to our employees
- Maintain up-to-date records of training activities and employee progress
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organisation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in a training and development role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong understanding of training methodologies and adult learning principles
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Sinhala
- Ability to travel frequently to various hotel properties
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with e-learning platforms
