Head of AI and R&D

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions to meet organizational and client objectives.
• Oversee the implementation of scalable, efficient, and robust AI models and software systems.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison with clients, effectively communicating complex AI concepts and solutions to diverse stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their requirements and deliver tailored artificial intelligence and software solutions.
• Manage and mentor the AI and software development teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Direct the recruitment and professional development of high-caliber talent within the AI division.
• Ensure effective project management within the AI division, guaranteeing timely delivery of projects that align with company goals and client expectations.
• Implement and refine agile methodologies to enhance project workflows and team productivity.
• Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the organization by encouraging experimentation and staying abreast of emerging technologies.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders to remain at the forefront of AI and software development trends.
• Spearhead the creation and presentation of technical content, including whitepapers, case studies, and presentations, to showcase the company's AI expertise and thought leadership.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, workshops, and forums to demonstrate technical prowess and expand the company's professional network.
• Lead initiatives to explore and evaluate emerging technologies, assessing their potential impact on the company and its clients.
• Organize and conduct awareness sessions and training programs to ensure the team remains current with the latest AI technologies, software development practices, and methodologies.
• Continuously assess the team's technical capabilities, identifying skill gaps and providing targeted learning opportunities to maintain a cutting-edge skill set.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the software industry, with a strong background in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and technology innovation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead high-performing technical teams.
• Deep expertise in machine learning algorithms, artificial intelligence frameworks, and data analytics platforms.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies, particularly agile frameworks.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• A strong publication record in reputable artificial intelligence and machine learning conferences and journals is highly desirable.
