Description
- 5-6 years of HR operations/business partnering experience with at least 1-2 years of experience in the IT industry.
Qualifications
- Degree or postgraduate degree in HR/business management or a related field.
- HR-related professional qualifications.
People:
- Manage the end–to–end employee life cycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, rewards and talent development activities for Fortude Americas, in conjunction with Fortude Global.
- Build the talent pipeline for the region working with all touch points ( universities, job sites, and other partners) for lateral recruitment.
- Ensure retention within the region by working closely with the employees and management to improve work relationships as well as build morale and engagement.
- Conduct Touch Bases with all Top and Critical Talent once a quarter as well as with everyone in Fortude Americas once in 6 months.
- Conduct HR-related meetings with respective business units.
- Manage and resolve complex employee issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
Process
- Roll out and manage global HR plans and procedures across the region in the areas of performance management, compensation and benefit, budgeting, HR administration (insurance, medical, facilities, etc.), HR analytics, and employee engagement in accordance with global guidelines.
- Manage and coordinate with HR operations and finance teams on the annual Cost to Company (CTC) budgeting with regard to the Americas operations.
- Evaluate reports, decisions, and results of regional initiatives with regard to established goals.
- Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements and efficiency in the Americas operations practice.
- Attend Americas operations-related meetings and report back on actions to be taken.
- Consult with line management, provide HR guidance when appropriate, and analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws, visa, and other regulations, and update the Americas operations management team and the HR team on any changes and updates.
- Maintain contacts with legal entities in the region to ensure legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees are adhered to, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the company’s legal department when needed.
A willingness to work on a 2pm to 11pm shift is a must.
