As Intern - Procurement, you will be reporting to the Manager – Supply Chain Excellence of the SBU. You will be required to ensure that the raw material requirements of customer orders are purchased on time at the best price to maximize profitability and ensure on time delivery of bulk orders by constantly monitoring order progress and initiating corrective action.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify the seasonal requirements of the customer and offer fabric collection
- Counter develop the fabric based on the customer requirements
- Follow the customer’s seasonal calendars and source the fabrications, elastics and relevant materials for the bra manufacturing
- Liaising with internal/external cross-functional teams and building lasting relationships with the customer.
- Direct communication with suppliers and customers to full fill the requirements align with T & A
Education
Possess an Academic/Professional qualification in Textile technology or apparel manufacturing
Experience
Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Effective time management skills, prioritization capabilities and ability to perform under pressure
Be proactive, assertive and forward-thinking
Ability to take ownership in delivering operational excellence while being a performance-oriented team player.
