Key Responsibilities:
- Support financial aspects of day-to-day operations, including revenue, expenses, cash flow, and other financial metrics.
- Assist with processing payments to suppliers and other creditors.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable effectively.
- Record and classify daily and monthly overhead expenses in the company's accounting system.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of transactions.
- Monitor the financial aspects of specific projects, tracking expenses, revenue, and profitability.
- Record and post journal entries in the ERP system.
- Collaborate with external auditors by preparing financial statements, schedules, and required documentation.
Qualifications:
- Completed or pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or commerce from a recognised university.
- Partly qualified in a professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a similar field.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Previous experience in audit and ERP systems is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of accounting standards is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
