A leading, fast growing organization in life insurance based in Colombo is seeking a Manager - Partnerships & Direct Sales.
The Job Role:
The person will be responsible to identify and negotiate with corporate partners, who maintain customer databases, and implementing go-to-market strategies to grow the Alternate Channel business.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with potential and existing corporate partners, fostering a strong partnership.
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions for partnership agreements, ensuring that they are align with the company's strategic objectives.
- Create and maintain a robust pipeline of leads, ensuring a consistent flow of potential customers.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring that all parties are aligned with partnership goals and objectives.
- Work closely with the Alternate Channel sub-head to set ambitious yet achievable revenue targets, and execute strategies that deliver against them.
- Oversee proper functioning of Partnerships and Direct Sales channel and responsible for both channel revenue generation.
- Analyze reports on partnership performance, lead generation, conversion rates, and other relevant metrics, ensuring visibility and transparency across the organization.
- Ensure that all partnership agreements are compliant with relevant regulatory requirements, to minimize legal risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as regulators, industry associations, and partner organizations
- Monitor and analyze the performance of existing partnerships, identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
- Ensure maintenance of accurate and up-to-date record of all partnership agreements, sales activities, and key performance indicators
- Provide leadership to the team to drive innovation, collaboration, and data-driven decision making
- Guide and monitor performance to ensure productive and professional delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree from recognized university / institute, MBA or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
- Full/Part qualification in recognized professional institute will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 03- 04 years as Assistant Manager, with 10+ years of overall experience.
- Familiarity with partnership- based organizations and direct sales process.
- Excellent knowledge in corporate insurance products and also about insurance industry.
- Strong analytical skills, decision making, networking and sales acumen with good communication skills.
