Merchandiser - Product Development

The Merchandiser – Product Development is responsible for leading effective execution of Product Development for the assigned categories. The role includes accurate forecasting of customer orders, driving the sample development process, order costing/negotiations with customers, and liaising with internal teams/customers for achievement of the topline, profitability, OTD, and CRI objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing PD Merchandising objectives and action plans for the assigned categories
• Drive the achievement of Sample Development On-Time Delivery (OTD) and profitability objectives in collaboration with internal SBU/Corporate teams and CFTs.
• Manage relationships with customers/buying houses to achieve strategic PD deliverables, including outstanding product development and Customer Relationship Index (CRI) etc.
• Lead and manage the team of Development Merchandisers for the assigned categories to achieve functional objectives

Education

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Textile or Clothing technology or materials management or any other relevant stream

Experience

Minimum of 1-2+ years of relevant experience in Merchandising (Development) with Costing
