Project Manager - SAP

We are looking for a Project Manager - SAP to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for project management, aligning and ensuring the IT strategy as part of the SAP S/4 HANA transformation for all required tools (including Cloud products).
• Responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects within specified timelines, scope, and quality standards, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
• Understand the standardized Procure-To-Pay process, advocate for them among all relevant stakeholders, and utilize the Deviation-To-Standard form to create new process variants when necessary.
• Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion, adhering to project management methodologies and best practices.
• Planning and coordinating system setup, tests, training, and migration, including knowledge transfer to support organizations and operations.
• Drive continuous improvement activities for related projects, processes, and IT systems, incorporating lessons learned.

Candidate Profile

• Completed university studies in computer science, business sciences or a comparable subject.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in managing SAP projects inclusive of SAP S/4 HANA projects.
• A management degree or certification (eg. PMP) is desirable.
• Eager to learn and work on new things, with a structured and methodical approach, excellent service mindset, and collaborative spirit.
• strong communication and organizational skills as well as ability to document and share knowledge.
• Strong leadership qualities demonstrated ability as a team player, willing to take up responsibilities, delve into technical topics, handle escalations, proactively execute mitigations, and maintain high team motivation.
• Independently identify challenges and work towards resolution, self-organized and self-driven, creative and effective, with flexibility and excellent problem-solving capacity, accustomed to working in international teams.
• Good communication with internal and external stakeholders, enthusiastic about excelling in a VUCA environment,
• Knowledge in IT, procurement, accounting background or experience with the Invoice-to-Pay process, ERP / SAP is a plus.
• Experience in IT- or change projects, knowledge of project management and agile working skills.
• Managed small to medium-sized teams of experts and delivered projects in alignment with scope and timeline.
