QA Engineer - Automation (Cypress)

We are looking for QA Engineer - Automation (Cypress) to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate test automation frameworks and tools. Ensure that the automated tests cover all relevant test scenarios and adhere to coding standards.
• Implement automated tests to validate the functionality and integrity of application programming interfaces (APIs) and their integration with other systems.
• Identify, report, and track defects through resolution. Work closely with developers to ensure timely bug fixes and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with the infrastructure team to set up and configure test environments that closely resemble the production environment.
• Manage test data and create data sets for automated test execution.
• Document test results, test procedures, and test cases. Provide regular test status reports to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in test automation. Propose and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• More than 02 years of experience as a Software Test Automation Engineer with Cypress.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Cypress, Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented and passionate about delivering high-quality software.
• Relevant certifications in test automation or software testing, such as ISTQB-CTAL or similar.
• Experience with behavior-driven development (BDD) and tools like Cucumber.
• Experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling is a plus.
