Description
The primary role of the entry level analyst is to monitor and evaluate credit cardholder payment transactions and disputes reported by the merchant banks and collaborate with support teams to research and respond to each claim. The role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent customer service skills, well developed analytical and decision-making skills, as well as documentation and organizational skills for case management. Additionally, the analyst must be familiar with both domestic and international rules and regulations related to credit card chargebacks and disputes.
How you will make an impact:
- eCommerce fraud: Monitor and track payment activity and fraud tool performance
- Chargebacks Management: Monitor, investigate and respond to dispute inquiries received both internal and external.
- Tracking and Documentation:Â Maintain detailed records of chargeback cases, including timelines, communications, and outcomes for future reference and reporting.
- Reporting and analytics: Prepare regular chargebacks, disputes, and fraud reports and risk analysis.
- Collaboration: Work with US team to manage the chargeback processes proactively
What we look for:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant fields
- Experience in banking, finance, or related field, in roles involving in Credit Card processing, digital ecommerce, fraud detections or customer services.
- Knowledge with Chargeback management software, data analysis tools, and familiarity with industry regulations
- Certified Payments Professional (CPP), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or other relevant industry certifications would be added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English
