Senior Manager- Product Development

The ideal candidate should be energetic team player with excellent communication, proactive attitude, ability to be self-motivated and work independently to achieve tight deadlines.

Role & Responsibility

• Fully assess to ensure that developments are accelerated and ensure that machinery is available to manage bulk assuming that all developments turn into bulk orders.
• Effectively administrate skills to manage and cater swimwear, activewear, athleisure & casualwear.
• Deciding all product and technical specifications for the garment including the construction and operation sequence, and the machine, attachment, and work methods to meet the customer's expectations.
• Coordinating and effectively communicating with the customer on product related issues pertaining to fit, construction, technical specifications, and materials.
• Analyzing sketches and samples, understanding customer requirements, and guiding the team to develop samples ensuring the viability of bulk production.
• Effectively manage & optimize PD Digital solution - PD system , 3D pattern making CLO & review how more customers could be offered digital solutions application.
• Improve costing turnaround time to 02 days & 01 day for amendments costing.
• Achieve RFT for fit samples.
• Achieve RFT for all submitted costings & all dispatched samples.
• Evaluate training requirements to enhance knowledge of the team.
• Ability to contribute to product required bonding & laser.

Qualifications & Experience

• 10 years industry experience with minimum 4 years' experience in the similar capacity
• Bachelor's degree in design/management
• Degree in any Management field or certificate holder in Business Management
• ICT Literacy
• Presentation, Negotiation, and independent decision-making skills
• Customer orientation/ Strategic Thinking/Process mindset
• Result orientation/Sens of urgency
• Extensive experience in pattern & garment technology is a must.
