As a Senior Sales Specialist, you will play a critical role in expanding the customer base and growing revenue.
Specifically, your key responsibilities will be:
● Responding to inbound inquiries from email, website, social media and chat via our consolidated CRM tool (Kustomer)
● Holding one on one and one to many sales meetings with potential customers
● Holding trip planning sessions with individuals and groups
● Develop and implement new effective sales tactics to achieve revenue targets
● Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
● Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
● Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
● Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
● Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
● Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to management.
● Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.
● Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote tuktukrental.com.
● Train and mentor junior sales staff to enhance their skills and performance.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
● At least 3-5 years of experience in sales, ideally within the adventure tourism industry.
● Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
● Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques.
Required skills:
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
● Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
● Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
● Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
● Knowledge of the tourism industry and/or automotive sales is a plus.
● Fluency in English, Sinhala, and Tamil is advantageous.
● Excellent punctuality.
