Description

How you will make an impact: 

  • Engage in the analysis and Identification of automation opportunities from the internal teams to reduce workloads and increase accuracy by automating the manual processes.
  • Initiate R&D on the existing solutions and implement new solutions based on the automation requirements. Propose improvements and own the end to end solution delivery
  • Drive comprehensive documentation to ensure the level of service expected from the Automation Team.
  • Conduct user training, presentations and demonstrations to ensure that knowledge and technical exposure are shared among teams.
  • Remain informed of new developments and trends to make recommendations for the evolution of automated solutions.
  • Faster context switching between different solutions and platforms to provide support when required.
  • Work as a part of the scrum development team.
  • React as the first point contact for issues reported by users, escalate customer issues and complaint internally as required
  • Troubleshoot and solve complex problems and able to work with guidance, as needed, from Subject Matter Experts & Application Owners.
  • Provide 24/7 roster based OneCall support during service outages.

What we look for:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree preferably in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of industry experience
  • Extensive experience on programming languages such as Java, JavaScript ( NodeJS ) and frontend framework ( Angular / React )
  • Scripting experience on Bash and Python.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, New relic, App Dynamics, SolarWinds  
  • Experience with Source Control tools such as Git and SVN
  • Experience in Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Database experience on RDBMS (MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL) and No SQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) technologies.
  • Knowledge on Network technologies
  • Experience with Microservices architecture and Containerization  
  • Knowledge in Selenium
  • Experience with IT Service Management principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Basic experience with ELK and Splunk
  • Knowledge with CI/CD tools  
  • Cloud infrastructure exposure in AWS and azure
  • Experience with Agile and SCRUM practices.
  • Understanding on Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps concepts  
  • Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and technical appreciation skills.
  • Fluency in English is highly desired along with the ability to work well with culturally diverse technical groups
  • Good to have experience with RPA tools , JSM/ServiceNow, AI/ML, Splunk ITSI, Kubernetes, Helm chart, Jenkins pipelines and GitHub actions
