Wiley is looking for a Technical Specialist in Quality Engineering to join our exciting, rapidly growing team in Sri Lanka. You will define and execute the automation strategy for your project(s) and help drive technical initiatives across the quality engineering practice including implementing/enhancing frameworks, evaluating new tools/frameworks, and setting up guidelines and best practices in using tools/frameworks. Strong analytical skills are a must and extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in using open-source tools for API/Web test automation in both functional and non-functional testing is essential. The individual should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate information to technical and non-technical audiences.
What we look for:
- BSc in computer science or related field is required.
- 7 years’ experience in Quality engineering with exposure to manual, automation, and non-functional testing
- Extensive Hands-on experience in open source as well as commercial tools for API and UI automation
- Hands on experience in non-functional testing tools such as Jmeter, Load runner, burp suite, NVDA etc.
- Experience with ATDD, BDD and TDD practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to give attention to details as well as the big picture.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate information to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Team player who can easily adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
- ISTQB advance level qualification will be an added advantage.
